Love Finds You Under The Mistletoe
It's Christmas reading time! In the next few weeks I will be sharing a number of Christmas books with you both fiction and non-fiction. I like a good holiday read anytime of the year but especially when the Christmas season is right around the corner!
I want to tell you about a book that the Christian Fiction Blog Alliance is introducing this week: Love Finds You Under The Mistletoe by Irene Brand & Anita Higman. I've read a number of "Love Finds You" books and have enjoyed them all. This is a unique novel in that it is two Christmas stories in one - one historical and one contemporary:
An Appalachian Christmas - Julie's promise to her dying sister compels her to take her nephew to Mistletoe, Kentucky, a tiny town in the Appalachian Mountains. Sparks fly when she meets David Armstrong, a WWII veteran like herself.
Once Upon A Christmas Eve - Hollie's store has just been voted best Christmas shop in America. The new publicity draws a novelist to the cozy town of Noel, Missouri. He demands to write her story - a dramatic tale of misfortune and triumph and she is swept into a world of beautiful words until her lifelong best friend, Owen, launches a plan to win her back.
